Portsea Golf Club is located near the mouth of Port Philip Bay, about an hour's drive from Melbourne, and had ten holes by 1926. The 18 holes here were completed in 1965.

Their web site promotes "a unique mix of coastal undulation, picturesque views, challenging links golf and a colourful history." Visitors are welcome, although tee-times are somewhat limited, so advance booking is highly recommended. The public visitor walking rates are A$70 on weekdays, then A$80 on Sundays, public holidays, and the week of Christmas. Carts are A$45.
