British architect Fred Hawtree designed the first nine heathland-style holes here, which opened in April of 1968. Seven more holes opened in 1971, while the final two holes were completed in 1973. The course is located in the municipality of Houthalen-Helchteren, in the Flemish Limburg region of northeastern Belgium.

Visitors are welcome; reports suggest that the green fees are €66 weekdays and €80 weekends and holidays.
