Golf has been played at this site since 1820, although this genuine seaside links layout received its current configuration in 1909. The wind is a serious factor here.
Two clubs/societies are resident here - Leven Golfing Society and Leven Thistle Golf Club.
The standard visitor walking rates are £55/round or £70/day on weekdays, then £60/round or £75/day on weekends. Junior rates are available. Advance booking is a must, given that tee-time availability varies.

Great test of golf with a proper links feel to it. Senior open represents great value for a course of this quality. Few scruffy areas but generally in great condition, greens were very very true.

links golf at its best, teasting in the breeze (which is how it should be played (breezy) ), a must for anyone visiting Fife, forget St.Andrews (costly), this is as good a links you will find anywhere. I played it using this offer....EARLY IN THE WEEK SPECIAL
