The Players Golf Club opened in 2002 and is located about one mile from Junction 18 of the M4. The courses were designed by owner Adrian Stiff. The Codrington Course opened in 2002, while the shorter Stranahan Course (named for noted amateur Frank Stranahan) opened in 2010. The Watergarden 9 is a pitch-and-putt with almost all holes guarded by water -- hence the name.
The Championship Course is an amalgamation of 15 holes from the Codrington, one from the Stranahan, and two original holes. It is possible to play the Championship layout with prior arrangement.
The high season walking rates are £48 on weekdays, £52 on weekends and public holidays (carts are £20). Junior, twilight, all-day, and monthly rates are available. Rates for the Stranahan and Watergarden courses are lower.

Fantastic Course, even better when you can play it using 2for1 vouchers getting 36 holes for £38. Long Walk between tees so buggies a definite - but what a course!
