Formerly known as Putnam Country Club, Connecticut National CC is a Mark Mungeam design that opened to the public in 1994. It has been ranked in the top 100 New England Golf Courses by the New England Journal of Golf.

This popular course was carved out of a wooded area with gently rolling terrain. The greens are undulating and some are slightly elevated, while six ponds are in play on two holes. The eighteenth, a 521-yard par-5, is the most scenic and offers a view of the entire valley.

The walking rates are $30 weekdays and $42 weekends. Memberships are also available.

This course is great! It's difficult but scores can be low if you manage your game and don't try hit the perfect shot all the time. The greens were rolling quick but true. We followed the club championship so the pins were tucked in some nice spots. It's an hour and 30 minutes for me but I look forward to playing it each year.

very nice course, but in the middle of nowhere

good value with some good scenery. Cart paths leave something to be desired.

High quality course for the price. A diamond in the rough for sure. Lots of visible course maintenance still going op. Hace played here multiple times and it keeps getting better. Black tees are just about 7000 yards and very playable.

Very nice course. Fairways were plush. Greens in excellent condition. Played this course when it was called Putnam CC and can see major changes with new ownership. Greens are tough. Fast and very undulating. Be careful when reading putts. Ball seems to do opposite of what you think on a few of them.
