Tapton Golf Course is situated on the outskirts of Chesterfield and includes an 18-hole regulation course, a 9-hole academy layout, and a pitch-and-putt course. When Tapton Park opened in 1934, the original 9-hole layout was designed by Ryder Cup captain and Open champion George Duncan.
