This course dates to 1927, when it opened as "Lakewood Golf Course." Following a $2.5 million renovation of the course and clubhouse, the name was changed. One feature of this course is its location near Tampa Bay and the Gulf, which can create some interesting wind-direction changes.

This is a private country club, visitors are permitted only as accompanied guests of members.
