Old Corkscrew Golf Club

Old Corkscrew is set on a magnificent wooded site of native oak wood hammocks and towering slash pines sculptured around a pristine nature backdrop with stunning vistas of lakes and preserves. This remarkable course is a pure golf experience as no residential development is planned on the site. Your only neighbors are roseate spoonbills, egrets, herons that wade along the lake shore and the verdant green of nearby farmland and citrus groves. Quite simply, there are no obstacles to distract you from experiencing golf at its finest.

Rates shown are high season mid-October through December. Lower rates during off and shoulder seasons. Walking is NOT permitted.

Great layout, undulating greens like you'd expect from a Nicklaus course. Love how there are no houses on the course. It is challenging so bring your A game. This course forces you to play certain shots and target golf.

Played this course in the "off" season in late October 2013. Using golfnow I paid only about $55 which is a great deal for this well maintained and difficult course. It is visually appealing, with very fast greens that have a lot of undulation. Be prepared to be punished and humbled when you embark on this course!

Great course, in great shape.
This course is very difficult, especially if you having trouble getting of the tee like I had that afternoon.
Will definitely play again.

Excellent course and beautiful scenery. Top notch as most of Jack Nicklaus's courses are. Challenging course which requires hitting fairways and greens. Played in low season so price was good. High season price is a little steep.

Very enjoyable, but not easy. Course management is very important, so in other words, don't try to do more than you can realistically do. Greens are very undulating and in good shape. Surprisingly, with all the wooded area surrounding the course, the bugs were not too bad!!

It's all about your approach shot!!!! If you haven't played it before hopefully you play with someone that has, or you'll have to come back again.

Very diffucult course loved it

Fantastic course. Greens are insane! Fast and wildly hilly. What a wonderful challange. Leave the driver in the bag because length has zero reward and positioning is everything. Wait staff seemed to have trouble with pricing of beer...
  MGoBlue100 - 10/10/12
Very very wet. Greens have been veri-cut, fairways and bunkers are currently a mess.
