Windy Harbor Golf Club
Mayport Rd Bldg 1981
Mayport Naval Station, FL 32228, United States

904.270.5380
This course is located on Mayport Naval Station. The name of the course is well-earned, as several of the holes on the back nine are less than a few hundred yards from the Atlantic Ocean, and thus gets more than its fair share of wind.

The practice areas include grass and carpeted practice tees on the driving range, a practice sand bunker, and a large putting green. A golf shop, bar, and restaurant facilities are available in the clubhouse.

Due to security procedures, civilian guests must now have an MWR guest card.

One of Jacksonville area's best kept secrets. Always in great condition..especially for a public course. Great staff and restaurant/bar as well.

I rate this course high. It is a very good course. It is a windy course all year around. This course is located on the Naval Base. I recommend this course to every Golfer.

This golf course gets plenty of daily use and gets packed over the weekends or holidays. For all this play, the course is always in very good shape! It does show some wear and tear, but that's expected when there are young adult sailors learning to play golf during their free time, thus the 3 rating level. Windy Harbor earns its name with the ever constant sea breeze on the back nine. If you have never played here, get someone who has access to the Mayport Naval Station to take you! Well worth the effort!
