Played this morning in 3.75 hours with an 8 a.m. start. The course is in excellent shape right now, even with the water restrictions. The maintenance crews are doing an awesome job! Wind came up at 9:12 and was steady a 1 to 2 club winds.

Greens are so bad! that review was in March. now greens are great, but the course is toooooooo slow during the weekend. if you are seeing > 2 groups of players waiting at the first par 3, hole #4, don't even think of having a good game any more. you will have excruciating pain by hole #10, then you will be demoralized! you paid for $69, good price, but all Marshalls must be taking a nap...

Excellent course, very challenging! Only thing against it is keeping play moving, especially on the turn. Will play again

Beautiful Course. Not as tough as one would think.

They need to add pin point for the SGXW.

Holes 17 and 18 are tough finishing holes. I still havn't played 18 well yet. I've gotten lucky and pared a few times

A lot of interesting holes. Greens are tough, especially when it seems that few people fix their divots here. The course is quite walkable, although a few holes on the back will show you how out of shape you are. The wind is usually a factor here.

I usually play Callippe on the weekdays and I am a Pleasanton resident which means I get a discount - especially if you walk. This is a good course to walk since it will get your heart pumping. There are several hills that you will have to walk up and down. The course itself is in fair shape. The fairways are good but some of the greens are not up to standards - though they run from medium to fast. It is a challenging course from the blues and it also affords a good tee box for women. This layout of the course is moderately challenging and there are a couple of par 4 holes that - if you are long driver - may have a chance to be on on one. There are several holes that you will need to shape your shots and think about the approach shots. Once you get to the top of the hill on the course, there are some great views! All in all, Callippe will be a course my wife and I will continue to play.
