Hudson Hills Golf Course
400 Croton Dam Rd
New Castle, NY 10562, United States

914-864-3000
Hudson Hills is a 7,000 yard, par 71 championship golf course that takes full advantage of its setting in the Hudson River Valley. Perched atop the first tee, golfers are treated to a beautiful vista, with nearly one third of the golf course in view.

Golfers can choose to play from any of the four sets of tees, measuring from 5,100 yards to nearly 7,000 yards, in order to create a golf experience that matches their unique skill level and playing style. Regardless of skill level, Hudson Hills rewards players who favor strategy over sheer distance.

Water hazards come into play on over seventy percent of the golf holes and environmentally protected lands line the track reinforcing the importance of club selection and accuracy in achieving textbook pars.

An enjoyable track for the most part with a couple of uninteresting holes. Very well maintained fairways and greens. Punishing rough.

Part of the Billy Casper group of managed courses, bit expensive for what it was $85 (winter rates), greens very fast, fairways tight. You have to think yourself around this course and not just blast with your driver. Good asortment of holes, downhill and uphill holes with fairways with very few level lies.

Royce Brook in NJ far better value and a better experience, would go back in the summer though to see if its better, as we all know what a course in the northeast is like just after winter.
