The beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains provide the backdrop for Winton’s 18-Hole championship golf course. The course features large Bent and Poa Annua grass greens and Bermuda grass fairways. Unlike most Central Virginia area courses, Winton’s gently rolling hills make for a much easier round of golf for walkers. Course is in generally good condition. Fairways were a little tight...Bermuda hasn't completely taken over. Greens putted very nice. We were playing on the VSGA card which said the price is $27....but when we got there they said it was the VSGA fault for making a mistake and the price was $30. We paid the $30, but we had driven 75 miles to play this course and we felt they should have given us the price the VSGA card said - $27. If it's a mistake they need to work it out with the VSGA and not take it out on the golfer. It wasn't our mistake!!!!!!
