Formerly South Carolina National Golf Course.

Beaufort’s finest 18-hole Golf Course north of the Broad River, is the final work of golf course reknowned golf course designer George W. Cobb. The front nine holes plays out through oaks draped with Spanish Moss. The back nine holes plays out to striking views of the Port Royal Sound. All grounds are meticulously manicured to insure the best golfing surface possible. A spacious driving range is adjacent to the first tee. In addition, SCN features a fully stocked Golf Shop offering fine equipment, golf accessories and apparel. Specialty items may be ordered. Golf lessons by PGA staff can be scheduled in advance. Tee Times: We recommend you call in advance (843) 524-0300, but walk-ins are welcome.

Great value for the money. A challenge, but fun for every level golfer. Decent size fairways and greens. Fairways good surface to hit off of and green roll quick, but controllable. Relaxed pace. Hole #2 and #10 my favorites. Lots of water and high rough. Bring extra balls if you are not custom to hitting every tee shot straight.

Course is not too long, and has a variety of open and tight holes. Wildlife is abundant, especially alegators and deer. Fun rounds can be had here !
