Very nice course and great practice range with putting & chipping green with trap. Also great food from the clubhouse, staff also above par

I did not like this course the first few times I played it...BUT....What a change, played again and WOW...The course is in great shape, beautiful scenery and the staff have really stepped up their game....I got better service at Tierra Verde than I did when I was a member of a local private club....Playing at TVGC is like a public "Private Country Club"! I'll be playing there a lot more....Give it a try, you will not regret it...especially if you like a challenge, the course will make you work for it!

Pricey considering no GPS on the carts. In good shape and a solid test of your game but doesn't stand above other courses in the same price range.

Terrific municipal course! I did not have my sky caddie and really missed it. There are numerous tee boxes set back with trees lining the fairway, but the fairways are usually much wider than they look from the tee box. Greens are average speed with some really large with different areas set off with a large hump or bump to get over. Up hill putts seemed slow, but we were playing in the morning with lots of watering done the night before. Even in a drought, the fairways and rough are extremely green - even found some wet areas from the irrigation. Overall a good course I would like to play again.

Great course! Superb greens, great range, and the wildlife is excellent. This is my favorite DFW course to play

Tierra Verde was in great shape. Greens putted true. Fairways had lots of grass. However, if you got off the fairways, there was a large chance that you wouldn't find it. The one thing that I really enjoy about TV is that although the fairways run next to one another, there is green space and you think you and your group are out alone.

One of the better muny's you will ever play. A pleasure to play as long as you drive it straight. Tee boxes are a little daunting as there are lots of forced carries and the trees narrow your vision down to a very small window on most holes. The greens are ok...not fast but in good condition. Pace of play - expect a long round. Price - I believe it was in the $60 range.
