Two courses owned and operated by the City of Los Angeles are at this location:

ENCINO Municipal Golf Course is a medium-length golf course with large, wide tree-lined fairways, and was designed by William P. Bell and sons. It opened in 1957 as the second course of the 36-hole complex.

BALBOA is the original and shorter course here, featuring more narrow fairways. Also a Billy Bell, Sr. design, this course opened in 1954 as the Sepulveda North Course, and underwent a partial redesign by architect Steve Timm in 2008.

A lighted practice range is part of the facilities here.
