Mansfield National Golf Club is a public-private venture between the City of Mansfield and Eagle Golf. This John Colligan design opened in 2000 on the rustic southeastern edge of Mansfield, just outside Fort Worth.

The course runs over 225 acres with an abundance of oak, evergreen, cedar, elm hackberry, and mesquite trees in play on most holes. Low Branch Creek meanders through the course, lending its own challenge on many holes.

I didn't play as well as I hoped to only shot a 14. My average is a solid 6. My braker wasn't too good so I threw it into the pond on hole 19. On the par 8, I shot a .25 my career best. Terrible service, back in my home country when you chucked your braker into the pond they gave you a brand new one. But the manager cursed me out and told me that I had to buy my own. Like cmon man. The top g's handled him so you won't be seeing much of derrick anymore. RIP DERRICK. Dont mess with BARGOV!

This course has improved dramatically. Greens are awesome, fairways great, and nicely raked bunkers. Cart girl was a little slow coming around, but that is my only complaint.

Always a fun course to play.

Nice muni -- Not a big fan of the starting four holes but the rest of the course is good golf - some elevation changes, holes are challenging and the scenery is not too bad. Service was slow both in the clubhouse and on the course but it probably had something to do with the scramble that they sent off around us. Not as nice as Terra Verde but a good, cheap play if in the area.

they fixed the greens, they still have a few rough spots but are overall much better. the rest of the course is in good shape. Fun course

Played for the first time. Layout is good. Par 5's are reachable. Shorter Par 4's. Above average Par 3's. 6800 yards but plays like 6400. I'm sure the greens are usually good. However, right now the greens are the worse in DFW...mor dirt than grass AND soft spike marks around the hole on several holes. Putting was a joke! Knowing this, they still charged full fees. F+
