This attractive course is located in southern Orange County, less than two miles from the famous Mission San Juan Capistrano. This David Rainville design opened in 1967. The course found itself in the news on October 22, 2012, when a course marshal discovered a live, two-foot-long leopard shark thrashing around on the 12th tee. Based on the claw-marks, the shark was dropped on the course by a predatory bird that apparently changed its mind about having take-out seafood for lunch.

This was a nice course, a couple of serious doglegs that with a couple visits a golfer will learn how to play. Green were true and fairways very good with the rough cut down so that was not an issue. Food was perfect and lots of nice TVs for staying late to avoid the traffic. Visit the practice range first before turning into GC parking as it is across the street. The gong in the range is a good betting game.

Played yesterday and my wife and I had another great time - I love this course. Great value and super staff always makes it fun.

When we first talked to the person in the proshop, he first asked what price we had paid on Golfnow and when I told him our rate he informed me the rack rate was considerably more in a very snotty manor. He then proceeded to explain because of that there was no way we would get out early even though there was no golfers going out for over an hour before our time. When we did get out ( the Starter Armondo) a bit early we caught up to the twosome in front within a few holes and play was slow from there on in. The course was a good track, spoiled by the management and the attitude of the people playing that day for sure, will not go back

This is not a $75 dollar course by any stretch of the imagination. Fairways and areas around green are awful... hardpan, spotty or worst. Every green runs at a different speed. And many Mickey Moused holes... hit it through the windmill into the clowns mouth where good shots are penalized.

Nice course to play if your in the area...well maintained fairways and greens. Staff is tops and they compliment the new renovations of the club house.

Wide fairways are pretty forgiving.
