This course dates to the early 20th century, although the club retained the legendary Donald Ross sometime during the 1920s to redesign parts of the course. Between 1984 and 1985, architect Dan Maples oversaw some changes, including the relocation of the 8th green. Architect Ron Prichard oversaw some further work on the greens in 2008, in an attempt to restore some of Ross's typical design characteristics. Prichard also designed 11 new bunkers as part of the remodel, which was completed and reopened on December 2, 2008. Six sets of tees now stretch the course from 4,841 to 6,370 yards.

This is a private club; visitors are permitted only as members of guests. The standard visitor fee is $100.
