Allentown Municipal Golf Course
3400 Tilghman St
Allentown, PA 18104, United States

610-395-5108
The Allentown Municipal Golf Course located at Benner Fairways, 3400 Tilghman Street, has been recently renovated and reopened to rave reviews. With sculptured sand bunkers, two ponds and new bent grass tees and greens, the course is not only challenging--it's fun!

The course, opened in 1952, is a 18 hole Championship golf course with greens to challenge even the serious golfer. It also has fairway irrigation, an all grass driving range and a short game practice area with five sets of tees. The New ProShop features the Callaway, Taylor Made and Titleist golf products.

As of May 2006, Jeffrey T. Wambold is the new manager of Golf Operations. Wambold brings experience as both a player and a pro and his enthusiasm for returning the public course to its position as one of the best in the Lehigh Valley.

This course has updated information like phone, address, description or scorecard and is pending approval. These changes must be approved before they will be available on a SkyCaddie.

Good price, decent lay out and fairly challenging. The fairway is burnt in some places, but it's a muni

The course shows wear and tear later in the season. Many players are very disrespectful to the course and you encounter many novice players who hold you up from playing in a timely manner. Its a convenient location so you tend to pay more than what the course is worth. I would definitely consider other courses given the selection in the lehigh valley.
