Bunkers on the Meadows 9 holes need lots of repair work. Other than the bunkers, the greens and fairways were in great shape. Also surprised they do not offer a Junior rate, :(

Course is making a comeback after a 2 year period of sub par conditions. Staff is friendly and now will come back again. Too bad course losing so many trees due to ash bore

I have played Shaker regularly for the past several years (I'm a member) and have seen it in great condition, poor condition (due to weather and some improper maintenance), and now under new management start to come back nicely.

I notice that someone said that they had to play the 2 putt rule on 5/1/13. I just played all 27 holes today and felt that all the greens were nice and quick and aside from a couple of spots were in great shape. The spots in question were bad last year and are coming back nicely already this year. Even though not perfect (especially for the #2 public course in Ohio) they rolled without bumps and were very playable.

The new management is actually the original management and family from when the course opened. They are in the 2nd year of the reset and doing a nice job of bringing the course back to where it should be.

There are simply few courses in the area that provide the landscape, hole design, and options in quantity that these 3 nines do.

Just my 2 cents.

I love Shaker Run, one of the best layouts in my opinion. I would love to see the condition improve specifically the greens. Such a great course and you have to play the 2 putt rule because the greens are so bad.

We booked a 7:10 tee time via Golf Now. $39 for 18 makes this a tremendous value and we played in under 4 hours.

Watering the fairways to cause a mudpit in the middle of the day and greens full of sand.
